Answer: The website does not differentiate the two. If an item has not yet been release or is waiting on the factory to manufacture, we do pre-order deposits and the website just calls it backorder.

——————————————————

Boromir is a courageous captain and loyal son of Gondor, committed to defending his people from the forces of Mordor. Despite his valiant efforts, he tragically falls prey to the allure of the One Ring, leading to his ultimate sacrifice as he bravely defends Merry and Pippin around the ruins of Amon Hen.

In Peter Jackson’s Fellowship of the Ring film Boromir’s aesthetic design balanced the royal stature of his position as son of the Steward with that of Gondor’s finest warrior. Most of us know of Boromir’s primary three accessories, his broad-bladed sword, iconic shield, and his horn. However, many of us fans, cosplayers, and collectors alike were not aware of this beautiful dagger that Peter Lyon and Wētā Workshop made. It too balances Boromir’s class with his warrior nature mirroring the sword with a broad blade and fine details. While only visible in his final battle at Amon Hen, Boromir throws this knife into the neck of a Uruk protecting Merry and Pippin.

This authentically detailed replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop built by The Lord of the Rings production team in New Zealand and used in New Line Cinema films. United Cutlery, industry leader in the fine movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the prop using only the finest grade materials and craftsmanship. Close attention to details was a top priority. All United Cutlery replicas feature the film logo and the copyright notice marked of the product and this certificate to verify its authenticity.

NOTE: UC has not provided an official description or statistics yet, so the words previously read and below has been crafted by us here Castle Kon as Boromir lovers. As soon as UC sends us more details we’ll update. Photos are of prototype so it may look different.
