Description
PRE-ORDER NOTES PLEASE READ!
This is a pre-order sale. The current estimate from Weta is December 2023. However, as many of you are aware, not a single pre-order estimate in the past five years has been on time. As such, please follow the Castle Kon Facebook page for updates on this and other pre-orders. Also, if any other seller claims to have this before Castle Kon (other than Weta directly), it is most likely out-of-date information. Castle Kon will receive its pre-ordered amount 3 – 5 days after our distributor gets them in stock from Weta and we ship within a week of receiving the items. This means Weta will ship directly to collectors before we can as they need to ship it to us first. As such, if you are the type of collector who wants to have it first then we suggest purchasing through Weta directly.
We are setting this pre-order at $25 non refundable deposit with pre-orders closing on April 11, 2023 + FREE SHIPPING for US customers and $15 off our normal shipping for international folks. The remaining $75 will be due BEFORE December 1, 2023.
We are 95% sure we can ship to the EU, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia for the discounted rate of $15 on this item. Items will most likely ship USPS Priority International so less import / broker fees. Please remember, Castle Kon is a small company run by a collector just like you. If your address or some major conflict significantly raises the price of shipping, we will request more or refund you. REMEMBER: Import fees / VAT are not included in this price.
You are more than welcome to purchase the item at the full $100 right now. Just note: Castle Kon does not get refunded the PayPal / credit card fees when providing refunds. As such, we are moving to a credit transfer process. For example, if you purchase this item for $100, and desire a refund, we will cancel the pre-order and provide a $50 credit toward any other order with Castle Kon OR will provide a 95% refund ($47.50).

The process of making a film is oft an ever-changing journey. One such changed aspect was the helm worn by the Witch-king during The Return of the King.
Whilst this first design was manufactured, and even had scenes shot, it was ultimately decided that its likeness to Sauron’s own helm might be perplexing for the audience. Therefore, it was replaced with the Morgul Lord War Mask seen in the final cut of the film.
Greatest of the Nazgûl was their leader, the Witch-king of Angmar. Once a mortal man lured by the promise of power, the former King of Men fell under the sway of Sauron until he was little more than an extension of the Dark Lord’s presence, his own identity long forgotten.
A formless wraith, fear was his greatest weapon, and it was said that by the hand of no man would he fall. For centuries he served his dark master, leading the campaign that saw Arnor destroyed in the north and bringing war to Gondor in the south. Even being sealed in a magically warded tomb could not contain the Witch-king, who was recalled from beyond the grave to serve his master again.

Each 1:4 scale Helm is made from polystone and comes in an edition of just 750.
Accompanying your Limited Edition helm: an exclusive behind-the-scenes insert written by Weta Workshop senior concept designer and author, Daniel Falconer, detailing how the film version was brought to the big screen!
