This is a pre-order sale. The current estimate from Weta is April 2027. However, as many of you are aware, not a single pre-order estimate in the past five years has been on time. As such, please follow the Castle Kon Facebook page for updates on this and other pre-orders. Also, if any other seller claims to have this before Castle Kon (other than Weta directly), it is most likely out-of-date information. Castle Kon will receive its pre-ordered amount 3 – 5 days after our distributor gets them in stock from Weta and we ship within a week of receiving the items.

The Goblin King ruled vast hordes of goblin-kind from forgotten caverns below the Misty Mountains™, a self-proclaimed sovereign whose cruelty was matched only by his vanity. Delighting in a twisted harmony of melody and torment, he mingled song with the screams of his victims: anything to feed his greed and ever-swelling appetite.
Digitally sculpted by Daniel Holland, this statue captures every unsettling detail of the character’s unique anatomy. Drawing on extensive reference material from our work on the films, Daniel carefully recreated the Goblin King’s sagging, diseased flesh and imposing physical presence with remarkable authenticity.
The paint application elevates the sculpture’s grotesque realism, with layers of sickly pale flesh, bruised undertones, and infected yellows bringing the creature vividly to life. The result is a striking study in corruption and decay: an outward manifestation of a creature warped by both unnatural growth and the passage of time.
Completing the display are the Goblin King’s crude symbols of power. A bone crown perched atop his misshapen head. A gnarled wooden staff crowned with an amalgamated skull; shrunken trophies hanging beneath as a grim reminder of past victims. Beneath his feet, a crooked timber platform lashed together with rope and scattered with bones serves as a suitably primitive base for the self-styled king.
Repulsive yet unmistakably memorable, the Goblin King is a standout addition to any collection of creatures or villains.
