This bow is nothing like the previous bows. It’s a harder polyresin, and the string should stay tensioned after assembly. Word of warning though, once it is assembled, if you ever want to disassemble it, you will risk breaking it.
DO NOT TRY TO STRING THE BOW LIKE A “NORMAL” BOW WHERE THE STRING GOES ON LAST. WATCH THE VIDEOS
As far as assembling it, please follow the instructions included. It will seem scary, and you may think the bow will break, but just do exactly what the instructions show. You basically just hook the ends of the string into the notches in each bow limb, hold it with the two limb tips on the floor, insert the steel connecting rod from one limb into the hole in the other, then quickly press down. The steel rod will just snap into place and the string tension hold it together. You don’t really even need to use the screw. (See image in gallery or videos below):
