PRE-ORDER NOTES PLEASE READ!
This is a pre-order sale. The current estimate from Weta is Q2 2024. However, as many of you are aware, not a single pre-order estimate in the past five years has been on time. As such, please follow the Castle Kon Facebook page for updates on this and other pre-orders. Also, if any other seller claims to have this before Castle Kon (other than Weta directly), it is most likely out-of-date information. Castle Kon will receive its pre-ordered amount 3 – 5 days after our distributor gets them in stock from Weta and we ship within a week of receiving the items.
We are setting a $175 (+ FREE SHIPPING for US customers and $25 off shipping for international folks) non refundable deposit with the remainder due March 1, 2024. If the item is shipped earlier, Castle Kon will email to pay earlier. Please buy this separately from other items you may wish. Due to the way shipping is calculated, it will be incorrect with more items added and we may have to request additional shipping costs if this is purchased with other items in the cart. We are 95% sure the shipping will be accurate. We strive to have the lowest prices worldwide, but please bear with us if shipping magically doubles in cost for unforeseen reasons.
*Non-refundable note: Castle Kon does not get refunded the PayPal / credit card fees when providing refunds. As such, we are moving to a credit transfer process. For example, if you purchase this item for deposit of $100, and desire a refund, we will cancel the pre-order and provide a $100 credit toward any other order with Castle Kon OR will provide a 95% refund ($95.00).
Orders for this piece are open for a strictly limited time, from 5PM 21st June to 5PM 30th June (EST). “The final edition size will be determined by the total number of orders made during this period. No more, no less.” The text in quotes is directly from Weta. We like to be honest and open with our customers here at Castle Kon. This is our first limited edition size pre-order. They have given us until their date of July 5th. However, we are setting the pre-order end 5 days earlier. Why? Our distributor has said that “no limited edition” is “guaranteed”, so we want to get our preorder in BEFORE all those other folks to get ahead in the queue. We’ll keep all pre-order-ee’s up-to-date of the status.

Long had Gil-galad™ led the Elves, and long had he joined with the hands of Man, to defend these lands from the forces of darkness. After a bloody campaign, beating back Sauron™’s armies to the foot of Mount Doom, Gil-galad, alongside Elendil™, steeled his resolve and strode forth to face the Dark Lord’s wrath. Whilst his foe, The Dark Lord, wielded the One Ring of Power, Gil-galad held might unimaginable; unyielding, he marched on.
Gil-galad was the last High King of the Noldorin Elves. Within this moment, in Middle-earth’s darkest time, he, a great king, held both the hopes and the history of his people. Capturing that uncompromising determination and staunch resolve was integral for our team to do this statue justice. Gil-galad wasn’t alone in his final confrontation with the Dark Lord, and neither is he alone as a collectible. Designed in part as a trilogy of companion pieces, Gil-galad stands gallantly alongside Elendil™ to face off with Sauron™, creating an immaculate recreation of Middle-earth history.
