MANUFACTURING DEFECT PLEASE READ!
The current run of Strider Scabbards unfortunately do not fit the new Strider Swords. United is making tooling updates to the next batch (scheduled for mid-late 2025). This defect does not allow the sword to sit all the way in the scabbard. It sticks out about 1-2 inches. Castle Kon recommends displaying the sword and scabbard anyways, so this may not be an issue for anyone who only intends on displaying them. However, if you have a desire to put the sword in the scabbard, we recommend you wait to buy until 2025. Please note: Castle Kon will NOT provide refunds or returns for this defect as it is written here in red-bolded text and the items are sold ‘as is’.

This authentically detailed scabbard is a reproduction of the Strider’s ranger sword scabbard prominently featured in The Lord of the Rings™ film trilogy, presented by New Line Cinema. United Cutlery Brands, industry leader in fine movie knife and sword reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual prop scabbard, using the finest grade materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality available. Features include a genuine leather-wrap and straps, solid metal collar, fittings, buckles, and tip finished in antiqued metal and brass. Includes a companion hunting knife which is housed in a sheath on the side of the scabbard. The knife features include a stainless steel blade and pommel, wood handgrip, and brass bolster. Strider used the knife to cut leaves from the Kingsfoil plant in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He then used the leaves to help heal the wound Frodo™ received from the Witchking™.
