We here at Castle Kon are proud to introduce our exclusive replica of the legendary ring of the lost kings, we call the “Double’s Tribute.”
About the Artisan:
Meticulously sculpted by Dallas Poll, a jewelry artisan during the film, this ring is the most accurate to the film ring interpretation produced to date. Dallas was Viggo’s double during the production of The Lord of the Rings, is not only an accomplished actor but also a jeweler. Having crafted multiple items for the films, Dallas is working with Castle Kon to bring his stunning creations to collectors all around the world.
Replica Notes (PLEASE READ):
With the Double’s Tribute ring, you will notice that the serpent scales are not as deeply cut as other replicas. You may notice the ring looks a little “rougher” or “worn” than other replicas. Another key feature (one that is super important to us) is this ring is not as wide as other replicas which was the primary complaint of inaccuracy in those previous replicas. Lastly, our replica has a bed of golden flowers that the serpents’ heads rest on (like the original) that is missing from every other mass produced replica. Note, all of these features are intentional to get you a replica of the ring that is supposed to have been passed down over thousands of years from the 1st Age through the beginning of the 4th Age of Tolkien’s world. This replica is not meant be “clean” and “pretty,” but worn and battle hardened like the original prop.

Castle Kon Quality:
This is the first product that Castle Kon is producing and the first non-licensed product we are selling. As you may know, we here at Castle Kon are simply two lovers of Tolkien’s world and the book magic captured by the films since 2001. We would never sell a product we personally would not have in our collection and strive to provide the highest quality and accuracy to the sources we all love. For over a decade, we desired to sell the Jewelry from Middle-earth. However, the primary manufacturers of those pieces of jewelry did not extend their retail licenses to boutique shops like Castle Kon. Further, even though we have personally owned those jewelry pieces in our collection, we were never happy with how inaccurate they were from the source material. As such, we have worked hard to bring you this new collection of jewelry that is as accurate as one can be without buying the originally used props.
Copyright and Licensing Notes:
For legal reasons we cannot use the actual name of the ring worn by the character played by Viggo Mortensen. We call it “the Double’s Tribute” in honor of Dallas’ hard work during the film. This ring is not licensed merchandise, but our interpretation of the ring to be more accurate that any other previously produced ring in this style. These replicas were not cast from any officially licensed products, but were digitally scanned and casted from an original hand-sculpted prototype from Dallas Poll.
